About George Hacks Medical Solutions 2021
The George Hacks Medical Solutions Hackathon 2021 is the George Washington University’s fourth annual medical hackathon. This year, the event will be held online from Saturday, January 16th, to Sunday, January 17th.
At our hackathon, students form teams of 2 to 4 people, select one of the proposed challenges, and take 24 hours to problem solve with expert mentors and technical workshops at their disposal. Our problem statements may be patient-specific or involve a systematic issue relevant to the function of the presenting organization. Each team’s goal is to develop a working prototype, which may be an app, device, systems process, business model, or other deliverable to showcase and present to judges at the end of the event.
