Problem

Some children who use wheelchairs and communications devices are unable to keep their arm in a consistent position and therefore cannot consistently access a switch to operate their communication devices or wheelchairs.

Task

Select 1 -3 of the following from the WHO list of assistive devices for this assignment: a walking frame (#44), canes/ sticks (#5) , and a standard wheelchair (#46). The solution should (1) increase accessibility and function of assistive devices and (2) consider factors for real-world implementation: Proposed solutions should be implementable based on factors such as cost, transportation, and adoption.
