Affordable and Fully Accessible OB/GYN Exam Tables

Problem

OBGYN exam tables require women to climb on to a table, lie back, put their feet into stirrups, and then scoot towards the doctor at the end of the table for the exam. For those with wheelchairs, missing limbs, and the elderly, this is a highly difficult task, which has led to these populations skipping necessary exams.

Task

Create an affordable exam table that allows women to meet the table on the “ground floor”before raising it to the height needed by the physician. The table should also be able to slide the woman into the proper exam posture without the need to scoot. Ensure that women with various limb lengths can be comfortably accommodated.
