Problem

The backpacks that power chair users commonly use to hold personal items are attached on the back of the powerchair, so it is difficult to independently access these items by reaching around.

Task

Create an affordable wheelchair multipurpose device that can rotate around the chair and/or contains compartments for items the Veteran needs while away from home. The device could be a two-part system- one for items such as a backpack and one that would allow a tray to easily be placed and balanced for a Veteran to get food from the cafeteria.
