Problem

In order to reach my office every day, I am required to take an elevator but I use a motorized wheelchair. Motorized wheelchairs are wider than standard wheelchairs. When entering standard elevators, most times I am not able to turn around in the elevator. When I exit the elevator, I have to back out and often hit the sides of the elevator.

Task

Using a raspberry pi and provided camera create a rear view camera. Develop a sensor that helps maintain center position and tells you when u are too close to one side of a doorway.
